Paolo De Andreis

Paolo De Andreis is an experienced Structural Engineer who currently works as the Associate Director of Structures at Robert Bird Group. Prior to joining Robert Bird Group, Paolo worked at AKT II for 3 years as an Associate. There, they were responsible for the analysis and design of RC slab and PT slab, non-linear analysis of flat slab, early age thermal effects, dynamic analysis of vibration, and lateral stability analysis.

Before AKT II, Paolo worked at ECSD Srl for 2 years as a Structural Engineer. During their time at ECSD, they worked on various projects such as the Verres Viaduct in Aoste and the Government Building of Lombardia Region. For the Verres Viaduct, Paolo conducted a seismic assessment to determine the level of risk associated with loss of serviceability, severe damage, or collapse. Paolo also designed the bridge using isolation and dissipation devices. For the Government Building of Lombardia Region, Paolo was responsible for the structural analysis of concrete slabs, beams and columns.

Paolo De Andreis has a Masters in Seismic Engineering from ROSEschool - Pavia and a Master of Engineering in Building Engineering from Università di Pavia.
