Emanuel Johnson

Emanuel Johnson is a Senior Program Officer at the Robert R. McCormick Foundation since December 2016, bringing extensive experience in veterans' services and policy development. Previously, Emanuel worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs, where responsibilities included community outreach coordination, policy and program initiative consultation, and administrative oversight of veteran services programs. Emanuel also served as Coordinator for the Veterans Service Initiative at George Washington University, facilitating engagement opportunities for student veterans, and interned at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, where outreach and conflict resolution for education benefits were key tasks. Emanuel's earlier experience includes a finance internship at Angerholzer Broz Consulting and a career in the United States Navy as an Information Systems Technician. Emanuel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from George Washington University.
