Alexandra Zisser is an Associate at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Alexandra has also worked as a researcher and project coordinator at LSE Cities, where they examined the potential future impact of COVID-19 and Brexit on urban health in the London boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark. In addition to project coordination, Alexandra undertook research, collected and analysed demographic and geospatial data, and contributed to report writing and publication.
Before working at LSE Cities, Alexandra was an Urban Analytics Researcher at The Skillman Foundation, where they performed spatial analysis using ArcGIS to categorise housing typologies within satellite images of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This work contributed to the classification of over a million buildings and enabled the development of a Spatial Compendium, a mapping and illustration-based resources that details Addis Ababa's spatial and physical makeup.
Alexandra Zisser studied at the University of Southern California, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish. Alexandra also studied at USC's Madrid Campus. Later, they completed an MSc in City Design and Social Sciences at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
