Chloe Gurin-Sands

Chloe Gurin-Sands is a seasoned professional in public health and health equity with extensive experience in program management and policy development. Currently serving as a Program Officer for Healthy Communities at RWJF since March 2023, Chloe previously held the position of Senior Manager at the Metropolitan Planning Council from January 2016 to February 2023, where integration of health equity into land use planning was a primary focus. Notable roles also include Policy Lead for Environment and Health & Human Services at Better Together Chicago during the transition for Mayor-elect Lori E. Lightfoot, and various teaching and facilitation positions that emphasize communication across differences and community engagement at the University of Michigan. Chloe holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor's degree with a focus on Spanish and social issues from the University of Michigan.
