Monica L. Coleman currently serves as a Program Officer at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, focusing on grantmaking for health equity and managing community-led initiatives in the Southern United States. Previously, Monica acted as a consultant at Doing the Work: Counseling & Consulting LLC, providing research and evaluation services related to health equity. Monica's experience includes roles as a Graduate Evaluation Assistant at the University of Mississippi, a Telemental Health Counselor, and a Counselor, offering mental health support using various therapeutic modalities. As the Director of Education and Training for Teen Health Mississippi, Monica led workshops aimed at reducing teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. Monica has also worked as a therapist at Addiction Campuses. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, Monica holds a Master's in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from The University of Memphis and degrees in Psychology and Communications.
