Ruth Gao

Ruth Gao currently serves as Associate General Counsel for Impact Investments at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation since February 2023. Prior to this role, Ruth held the position of Associate General Counsel at Calvert Impact from September 2020 to January 2023, and was a Grunin Fellow at New York University School of Law from July 2019 to August 2020. Ruth's earlier experience includes working as an Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP from September 2015 to June 2019 and at O'Melveny & Myers LLP from October 2013 to September 2015, where Ruth also interned as a Summer Associate in 2012. Additionally, Ruth worked as a Financial Strategist at PT Yonasindo Intra Pratama and as a Product Launch Coordinator at ReCellular, Inc. Ruth Gao holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Strategy and Accounting, with High Distinction, from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
