Kathryn Hartrick has over 25 years of legal experience and 10 years of first-hand knowledge of business needs as an in-house corporate counsel and HR officer. KATHRYN founded Hartrick Employment Law in 2014, which provides solutions in investigations, coaching/training, and legal counseling. KATHRYN was the Vice President of Employee Relations/Legal Consultant for Career Education Corporation from 2012 to 2015 and served as the Vice President & General Counsel for Robertson Lowstuter since 2015. Kathryn also worked at Essendant as an Assistant General Counsel and Wolters Kluwer as an Associate General Counsel. In addition, they served as Partner, Labor and Employment Law Firm at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP (formerly Stickler & Nelson LLP) and worked at City of Chicago Commission on Human Relations as Deputy Commissioner. KATHRYN started their career at Seyfarth Shaw as a Senior Associate where they had significant litigation experience.
Kathryn Hartrick, AWI-CH, holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. In 2017, they completed CTI's Co-Active Coach Certification Training Program. Additionally, they are a certified mediator and has completed Profile Certification Training in Leadership Circle Profile/Leadership Culture Survey from The Leadership Circle.
