Jairo Jimenez is an IT Manager at Robertson Stephens in the New York Office. He serves on the firm’s Technology and Operations Team where his responsibilities include handling internal IT day-to-day issues, and projects as well as coordinating with the MSP on a wider range of IT systems used at Robertson Stephens.
Prior to joining Robertson Stephens, Jairo worked as a Systems Engineer at ACE ITS, a managed service provider, where he handled IT projects ranging from client onboarding, network/VOIP infrastructure set-ups, office buildouts, etc. Before ACE ITS, he worked at RFA a global MSP as a client service engineer providing dedicated IT services to clients and supervising the RFA data center where he would rack and stack storage/networking/server appliances, run copper/fiber cables, and troubleshoot network issues.
Earlier in his IT career, he worked as an IT technician at Empire City Casino where he was the “IT Guy” assisting 300+ employees, troubleshooting systems, and streamlining IT procedures. He was also instrumental in the integration into the MGM Resorts property portfolio co-leading the on-site team deploying 300+ machines, monitors, desk phones, and troubleshooting issues both on the system’s deployment and network implementation during the integration.
Jairo has held certifications in industry-leading vendors like Cisco, CompTIA, Apple, etc. He enjoys trying out new restaurants, playing baseball, learning new IT concepts, and watching anime in his free time.
