Wahidul Islam

Wahidul Islam is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as the Vice President of Development & Industrial Collaboration at Robi Axiata Limited since September 2022. Prior to this role, Wahidul held various leadership positions, including Head of Radio Network Planning and Optimization at Wipro, and Principal Engineer of Network Architecture at Grameenphone Ltd. His extensive experience also includes significant roles at banglalink, where Wahidul progressed from RF Assistant Manager to General Manager of Radio Design and Optimization, as well as previous engineering positions at Orascom Telecom Bangladesh Ltd. and TM International (Bangladesh) Ltd. Wahidul holds a B.Sc. Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, earned between 1995 and 2000.
