Chris Gates

Chris Gates is an accomplished professional in offensive security, currently serving as a Senior Offensive Security Manager at Robinhood, where responsibilities include managing Red Team activities, penetration testing, and overseeing a bug bounty program. With a strong background in security management, Chris has also held various strategic advisory and leadership roles across multiple organizations, including BitMEX and SightGain Inc. Additionally, Chris is actively involved in the cybersecurity community as a CFP Board Member for both BSidesNoVA and DEFCON®, and as a co-founder of NoVA Hackers. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and extensive training in wellness practices.
