Marcel Eckert

Marcel Eckert has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Marcel began their career in the hospitality industry, working as a Supervisor Service at Jordans Landhotel from 2002 to 2004. Marcel then moved to Jordans Untermühle, where they served as a Bar-Supervisor from 2004 to 2006. Marcel then transitioned to a role as a Souschef at the Werkstatt für Menschen mit Behinderung from 2006 to 2007. Marcel later embarked on a travel and work experience in Australia, New Zealand, and the USA with Travel Works from 2007 to 2008. Continuing in the hospitality field, Marcel joined Novotel hotels as an Auszubildender Hotelfachmann from 2008 to 2010. Marcel then worked at Crowne Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, where they held various positions including Rezeptionist, Front Office-Supervisor, Manager on Duty, and Front Office Manager from 2010 to 2015. Marcel further expanded their expertise by working with the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG™) as a Consultant, Performance Delivery Support from 2015 to 2016. Marcel then assumed the role of Rooms Division-Manager at Novotel hotels from 2016 to 2018. Marcel continued their career at Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt Gravenbruch as a Rooms Division Manager from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Marcel is serving as the Head of Corporate Hotel TML for ROBINSON since July 2022, following their previous roles as Operations Manager from 2021 to 2022 and Junior Manager from 2019 to 2021. With their extensive experience in the hospitality industry and diverse roles, Marcel has acquired a wide range of skills and knowledge in hotel management and operations.

Marcel Eckert attended the Hotelfachschule Heidelberg - Fritz Gabler School of Hotel Management from 2012 to 2014 where they earned a Dipl. Betriebswirt degree in Verwaltung/Management, Hotel- und Gaststättengewerbe. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, Marcel attended the Louise Schröder Schule where they studied Ernährungswissenschaften.
