Ashley D. McWilliams

Ashley D. McWilliams counsels and advises insurers in complex coverage disputes spanning several lines of business, including commercial general liability, construction defect, environmental liability and excess liability. Ashley also has experience in claims involving mass tort product liability, employment practice liability, and D&O and E&O liabilities.

Prior to entering private practice, Ashley interned and served as a law clerk in the claim legal department of a Fortune 100 insurance company.

Ashley graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she was an active member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board. She served as President and Skills Development Chair for the Negotiation Dispute Resolution Society (NDRS) and was a member of the Mediation Clinic where, under the supervision of the clinic's attorneys, she mediated live employment discrimination cases brought before the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO).
