Kelly R. Butricks

Kelly Butrick is a member of the Insurance + Reinsurance Group. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a law clerk to judges of the Connecticut Appellate Court. In that role, she prepared memoranda for judges, conducted extensive research on complex legal issues, and drafted and reviewed court opinions. During law school she served as a clerk at a Hartford-based law firm and also interned for the Honorable Alfred V. Covello of the U.S. District Court in Hartford, attending oral arguments and other proceedings, conducting legal research, and preparing draft opinions. In addition, she served as a teaching assistant for Evidence and Legal Practice courses and as a research assistant for the Law Library.
