Vijay Balaji

Vijay Balaji is a data scientist with extensive experience in algorithm development and machine learning. Currently at Roblox since February 2023, Vijay previously served as a Senior Data Scientist at SAP, where significant contributions included developing a Search Ranking algorithm for customer ticket resolution and implementing an anomalous session detection algorithm. Early career experiences included roles as a Data Science and Machine Learning Intern at SAP, where Vijay focused on image classification, and as a Business Intelligence Intern at Tata Consultancy Services, concentrating on predictive maintenance. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Data Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology.
