Weilin Zhong

Weilin Zhong is an experienced professional in security program management, currently serving as the Head of Security Programs at Roblox since May 2021, focusing on creating a secure global community through play. Prior to Roblox, Weilin held significant roles at Apple as a Staff Engineering Program Manager for Identity and Access Management and at Facebook as a Senior Security Technical Program Manager, where key initiatives included user data protection and cross-data center encryption. Weilin also has extensive experience from Wells Fargo, where responsibilities included leading the Enterprise Application Security Program and serving as a Senior Information Security Engineer. Earlier career roles included positions at Aspect Security, Inc., Cigital, Inc., and the University of Virginia's Computer Science Department. Weilin holds multiple degrees in Computer Science and Information Security from the University of Virginia, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
