Pieter Versavel is an experienced Computer Vision Engineer at RoboTire since 2020, where expertise includes designing a camera-based prototype for reading Department of Transportation tire labels. Prior to this, Pieter completed 12 online courses, including five Nanodegrees focused on Machine Learning and Computer Vision at Udacity from 2019 to 2020. As the founder and consultant of Pierke Consulting, LLC from 2014 to 2018, Pieter developed corporate financial analyses and detailed financial modeling for Fortune 100 and startup companies. Pieter also held roles at Yahoo! from 2006 to 2012, serving as Sr. Manager of Business Planning and Change Management, and as Senior Technical Yahoo, contributing to annual datacenter capacity planning and technical project prioritization. Educationally, Pieter has pursued an MS in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, and holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics/Robotics from KU Leuven, along with a Professional Certificate in Strategic Decision and Risk Management from Stanford University.
