Data Science Practice Lead at Robots and Pencils

Ted Goddard is the Data Science Practice Lead at Robots and Pencils. Prior to this, they were the Chief Software Architect at ICEsoft Technologies Inc. from January 2004 to August 2014. While at ICEsoft, Ted led the development of a multi-tenant flow-based notification platform based on Node-RED, developed an iOS browser extension for Augmented Reality and Push Notifications, participated in JavaServer Faces Expert Group and contributed to the Ajax specification, fostered ICEfaces open source community through numerous JavaOne and AjaxWorld presentations, and pioneered Ajax Push technology on JavaServer Faces.

From January 2000 to December 2004, Ted was a Member of Technical Staff at Wind River Systems where they participated in IETF NETCONF Working Group and OSGi standard. Prior to that, they were a Member Of Technical Staff at Sun Microsystems from September 1999 to September 2000.

Ted's academic background includes a postdoctoral researcher position at Emory University from January 1996 to December 1999.

Ted Goddard earned their MSc in Mathematics from the University of Calgary and their PhD in Mathematics from Emory University.
