Kavitha Velusamy

Kavitha Velusamy has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2001. Kavitha started their career at Cisco as a Research/Software Engineer. In 2010, they joined Amazon Lab126 as a Manager of Software Development, where they built high-performing audio and computer vision teams. In 2015, they moved to NVIDIA as a Senior Manager of Computer Vision Engineering, leading a global team across three engineering teams. In 2016, they joined Bossa Nova Robotics as a Director of Computer Vision and later Senior Director of Computer Vision. In 2019, they took on the role of Vice President of Engineering at iMerit, and in 2020 they became Vice President of Software Engineering at Leia Inc. Most recently, they joined Robust.AI as Senior Vice President of Engineering and is also a Member of the Board of Directors at Oceaneering.

Kavitha Velusamy has a PhD in Signal Processing/Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Kavitha also holds a Master of Engineering (ME) and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from College of Engineering, Guindy / Anna University.
