Marco Sanvido

Marco Sanvido has a long and varied work experience. Marco began their career in 2002 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2004, they moved to VMware as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. In 2005, they joined Hitachi Global Storage Technology as a Research Staff Member - Technologist. In 2010, they began working at Pure Storage as a Director of Engineering | Head of Pure's Incubator Program and All Things Newstack, a Director of Engineering | Office of the CTO, an Engineering Manager | Office of the CTO, an Engineering Manager, and a Principal Engineer. In 2017, they joined Styra as the VP of Engineering. In 2020, they became the Vice President of Engineering at MemVerge, and in 2021 they were appointed VP of Engineering and VP of Platform Engineering at Robust Intelligence.

Marco Sanvido obtained a PhD in Computer Science from ETH Zürich between 1997 and 2002. Marco then pursued a PostDoc in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley from 2002 to 2004.
