Jan Ooms

Jan Ooms has extensive experience in the education sector, particularly in vocational training. Since August 2004, Jan Ooms has served as Directeur at ROC van Twente, overseeing various MBO Colleges, including Bouw & Vervoer, Transport, Logistiek & Mobiliteit, and Bouw, Infra & Interieur. Previous roles included Directeur Huisvesting & Facilitaire zaken and Hoofd Onderwijs Afdeling, demonstrating a strong leadership presence in educational administration. Prior to ROC van Twente, Jan Ooms worked at ROC Twente Plus from July 1996 to August 2004 as a Coordinator and Docent Bouwkunde, and also held teaching positions at Fontys Hogescholen and Twents MBO College, where Jan Ooms contributed to innovative educational projects.
