Alisha Geldert

Alisha Geldert is a Senior Research Engineer at Roche, focusing on technology development at GenMark Diagnostics since August 2023. Previously, Alisha served as a Scientist in Screening Innovation at 4:59 NewCo, contributing to high-throughput screening methodologies and achieving a tenfold increase in screening throughput. Prior experience includes roles as an Applications Engineer at Berkeley Lights, Inc., where Alisha developed automated workflows for single-cell screening, and as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. Alisha's early career features research fellowships and internships, including work on malaria diagnostics at the National University of Singapore and a summer internship at the National Institutes of Health. Alisha holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
