Ge Zou is a Senior Principal Scientist and Section Head at Roche, with a focus on immunological drug development since October 2016. In this role, Ge Zou has led the discovery and progression of chemical series, playing a key role in new target proposals and successfully advancing an immunology project into the portfolio. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Research Investigator at Incyte, where efforts centered on medicinal chemistry for oncology targets, and as a Postdoc fellow at Harvard University, where Ge Zou designed and synthesized cortistatin-based probes for biological target identification and validation. Earlier academic experience includes a Graduate Assistant position at the University of Georgia, involving mentorship and laboratory instruction, complemented by extensive academic qualifications, including a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Georgia and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China.
