Hong Shen

Hong Shen possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, notably serving as Head of Oncology Discovery and Head of the China Innovation Center at Roche from November 2018 to July 2022. In these roles, Hong Shen fostered an innovative and agile culture, recruited talent, and managed strategy and operations for the Innovation Center. Prior to Roche, Hong Shen held several positions at Merck, including Exploratory Chemistry Team Lead and Senior Research Chemist, and began a professional career at Stanford University, earning a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. Earlier education includes an MS in Organic Chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
