Marianne Manchester

Marianne Manchester is an accomplished executive leader in the pharmaceutical sciences sector, currently serving as SVP and Global Head of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Roche since November 2014. With extensive expertise in transforming molecules into medicines, Marianne oversees a comprehensive range of functions including target identification, safety/toxicology, clinical pharmacology, and advanced analytics, supporting over 130 molecule programs across various therapeutic areas such as oncology and neurology. Prior roles at Roche include VP of Biomarkers and Translational Technology for Neuroscience and Rare Diseases, and Head of Protein, Metabolite, and Cell Sciences.
