Will Carrasquel-Ursulaez is a Principal Scientist at Roche, specializing in protein engineering and nanopore sequencing technology. With over a decade of experience in biological nanopore research in both academic and industry settings, Will has focused on voltage-activated potassium channels and innovative nanopore designs for DNA sequencing. They have also served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In addition to their research roles, Will is a founder of Step Up Group in Venezuela and currently serves as an Associate Editor at Bio-protocol.
