Ziyun Ding

Ziyun Ding is currently a Principal Bioinformatics Scientist at Roche since June 2022. Prior to this role, Ziyun held positions as a Senior Scientist and Research Scientist in Bioinformatics at Varian from May 2020 to June 2022, and served as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Convergent Genomics from October 2019 to May 2020. Ziyun also gained experience as a Technical Advisor and Insight Health Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science, focusing on developing a web application for monitoring abnormal breathing sounds, alongside data augmentation and feature extraction from audio data. Ziyun completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology, as well as a Master's degree in Statistics, both from Purdue University.
