Jane Tibbitts

Jane Tibbitts has extensive experience in strategic engagement and constituent relations, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Engagement at the Rochester Institute of Technology since May 2011. Tibbitts has held multiple leadership roles at the university, including Director of Constituent Relations & Special Events. Prior experience includes serving as a Special Event Coordinator/Consultant for the City of Rochester and various positions at Verizon Wireless, where Tibbitts focused on marketing and special events. Additionally, experience at the University of Rochester encompassed roles in alumni relations and undergraduate admissions. Earlier career stages involved marketing coordination at Seneca Park Zoo Society and public relations at Genesee Country Village & Museum. Tibbitts holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications & Public Relations from the State University of New York at Fredonia and an AS in Liberal Arts from Monroe Community College.
