Cory Palmer

Cory Palmer is an accomplished musician currently serving as the Principal Bass for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra since July 2017. With a rich background in both performance and education, Cory has held positions such as Assistant Principal Bass at the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra and Section Bass with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, teaching roles include Bass, Piano, and Guitar Instructor at TakeLessons.com and Adjunct Bass Professor at Westminster College. Cory's educational journey includes degrees from prestigious institutions such as Michigan State University, The Johns Hopkins University, Manhattan School of Music, and Carnegie Mellon University, culminating in a solid foundation in music performance and orchestral studies.
