Jennifer Carpenter

Jennifer Carpenter is an accomplished cellist and music educator currently serving as the Coordinator of Chamber Ensembles at the University of Rochester and as a Section Cellist with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Jennifer holds faculty positions at Eastman Community Music School and The Hochstein School, and will be joining Point Counterpoint as Summer Cello and Chamber Music Faculty in 2023. Jennifer's teaching experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Eastman School of Music and Interim Lecturer in Music at Nazareth College. Jennifer’s educational background includes a Doctor of Musical Arts in Cello Performance and Literature from Eastman School of Music, a Master of Music from The Juilliard School, and a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College.
