Cardiothoracic Sales Representative

Arthrex is committed to being the most innovative company in the medical device industry. Our newly developed Cardiothoracic Surgery technology is a direct result of that innovation. We are looking to add a Sales Representative dedicated to the sales, support, and service of our Cardiothoracic product portfolio. In this role, you have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the orthopedic medical device industry by representing Arthrex here locally in Northern Ohio.

Primary responsibilities of the role:

  • Acts as the primary product expert for our Cardiothoracic Surgery product category across our Northern Ohio sales area.

  • Increases sales results by building and maintaining strong relationships and implementing sales strategies.

  • Ensures that products/instruments are prepared and organized for surgical cases, including any necessary educational documents/videos.

  • Fluently discusses and trains physicians, OR personnel, and team members in the details and technology behind products and procedures relevant to Cardiothoracic surgery.

  • Serves as a liaison between Rock Medical and Arthrex Product Management on matters related to our Cardiothoracic Surgery technology.

  • Cross-sell additional Arthrex products or manage new product introductions as they become available.

  • Assists and participates in HCP-focused lab and training events.

  • Supports compliance and acts with integrity at all times.

  • Believes in our mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better.

Qualifications/requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should have clinical experience in Cardiothoracic procedures and/or a minimum of 2 years of clinical case support in Cardiothoracic fields.

  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments (especially open heart surgery).

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Must be able to satisfy the requirements necessary to obtain vendor credentials.

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.

Our training process consists of a comprehensive medical education and business development program covering products, surgical techniques, sales strategies, and service skills. This role will train locally at our Hudson office and the Arthrex Headquarters in Naples, FL.
