Lisa Strong is a Laboratory Manager and Chemical Hygiene Officer for the Life Science Department at Rock Valley College since August 2023, following a lengthy tenure as an Instructional Laboratory Technician there since August 2010, where responsibilities included managing labs for various introductory science courses. In addition to these roles, Lisa also serves as Adjunct Faculty, teaching Introductory Human Biology and providing lectures and labs for Introductory Life Science. Prior experience includes a position as a Science Teacher at Rockford Public Schools from November 2007 to June 2010, at East High School and previously at Jefferson High School. Lisa Strong holds a B.A. in Biology/Biological Sciences from Boston University and an M.A. in Zoology/Animal Biology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
