Jessica MacHado

Jessica Machado is a dedicated nursing professional with extensive experience in complex pain and addiction services, currently serving as a CPAS Nursing Fellow at Vancouver General Hospital since August 2024. Jessica's role at Vancouver Coastal Health, which began in April 2015, includes providing training and education to healthcare providers while conducting comprehensive addiction medicine and complex pain consults. Additionally, Jessica has served as an Occupational Health and Safety Executive with the British Columbia Nurses' Union since August 2022 and works casually at Rockdoc Consulting Inc., providing care at the Vancouver City Jail. Jessica holds a Master's degree in Nursing Education from Athabasca University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Langara College, along with specialized training in addiction prevention and treatment from The University of British Columbia.
