Shaan Pawa

Shaan Pawa is an experienced Emergency Physician, currently working at Vancouver Coastal Health since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) as an Emergency Physician from July 2017 to June 2020. Additionally, Shaan has held roles as an Associate Medical Director at Rockdoc Consulting Inc. since August 2021, as the BC Lead at Rocket Doctor since April 2021, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of British Columbia since January 2021.

Shaan Pawa completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Medicine at the University of St Andrews from 2007 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at The University of Manchester. Following that, they attended McMaster University from 2013 to 2015, where they completed a Family Medicine Residency Program and obtained a CCFP degree. In 2016 and 2017, Shaan attended Western University to participate in an Emergency Medicine Residency Program, earning a CCFP-EM degree.
