Shonda Brooks is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and administrative roles within non-profit organizations and health systems. Currently serving as Senior Director at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors since April 2024, Shonda previously held the Senior Director position at the Global Fund for Women from July 2023 to April 2024. Prior to this, Shonda was Chief of Staff at The Global Fund for Women from May 2019 to July 2023, and held various executive assistant roles, including at EW Healthcare, Habitat for Humanity New York City, and Planned Parenthood Global. Shonda began a career in medical administration as a Resident Coordinator in anesthesiology at Mount Sinai Health System and Weill Cornell Medical College. Shonda holds a degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology, earned between 1982 and 1986.
