Claudia Mertens

Claudia Mertens possesses extensive experience in research within esteemed institutions, currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at The Rockefeller University since September 2000. Prior roles encompass positions as Research Associate, Postdoctoral Associate, and Postdoctoral Fellow at the same institution. Before this, Claudia worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Student at the dkfz - German Cancer Research Center from January 1995 to August 2000, and held an Undergraduate Student position at the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research from April 1993 to June 1994. Claudia Mertens earned a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Heidelberg University between 1995 and 1999 and completed a Dipl.-Biol. degree in Biology at the University of Cologne from 1988 to 1994.
