Nina M.

Nina M. is a dedicated researcher and educator currently serving as a Graduate Fellow in the David Rockefeller Graduate Program in Bioscience at The Rockefeller University since August 2025. Previously, Nina worked as a Research Assistant in the Laboratory of Morphogenesis at The Rockefeller University from July 2023 to June 2025, and as a Teacher for the Aerie Program at The Wheeler School, where neuroscience courses were taught to middle and high school students. Educationally, Nina holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Neurobiology) from Brown University, where involvement included roles as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Neuroscience and Undergraduate Researcher in both the Plavicki Lab and Yajima Lab. Additional research experience includes a Research Assistant position at Stanford University School of Medicine and an internship at the UCSF Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care, focusing on trauma research. Early career experiences also include an internship at a laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley, and a role in customer service at Summer Kitchen & Bake Shop.
