Ryan Morrill

Ryan Morrill, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Rockefeller University since October 2023, specializing in neuroscience of the visual system through machine learning approaches. Previously, Ryan served as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia University from November 2021 to November 2023. Ryan's research experience extends back to a Postdoctoral Scholar and Graduate Student role at the University of California, San Francisco from September 2013 to October 2021, as well as research assistant positions at Tsinghua University, Kunming Institute of Zoology, and UC San Diego. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of California, San Francisco and an A.B. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University. Ryan also has experience as an Emergency Medical Technician with the Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad from November 2006 to December 2008.
