Timothy Kenny is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Laboratory of Metabolic Regulation and Genetics at The Rockefeller University, focusing on molecular metabolism and nutrient transport related to physiology, aging, and complex diseases. Timothy earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cancer Biology from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where the doctoral thesis examined mitochondrial stress responses in cancer under the mentorship of Doris Germain, PhD. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Student and a Post-Baccalaureate Research Fellow at Geisinger Health, as well as a General Surgery Research Intern. Timothy holds a Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology from Bucknell University.
