Maggie Tharp has extensive experience in product marketing and content management. Maggie began their career in 2010 as a News/Features Reporter at The Sylva Herald and Ruralite, where they wrote and edited up to 10 feature and news stories each week and maintained high standards for quality, ethical journalism. In 2013, they joined The Colorado Statesman as a Director of Marketing & Administration, where they demonstrated their work ethic, attention to detail and can-do attitude and built upon their knowledge of the newspaper industry. Her duties included social media management, website content management, food writing, advertising sales, marketing copywriting, and advertising account management. Maggie also worked as a Junior Brand Manager at Brand Iron, a Volunteer Social Media Consultant at Bright by Three, and a Marketing Specialist / Proposal Writer at CounterTrade Products, Inc. from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, Maggie Tharp joined FormAssembly as a Product Marketing Specialist, Content Manager, Content Marketing Team Lead, and Content Marketing Specialist. Maggie Tharp has an extensive education history. Maggie obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2008 to 2010.
