Michael Loeb

Board Member at Rocket Fuel Labs

Michael Loeb is a board member at Rocket Fuel Labs and the founder, CEO, and president of Synapse Group Inc. Michael has been involved in the consumer magazine subscription industry since 1992 when they co-founded Synapse with Priceline.com founder Jay Walker.

Under Michael’s direction, Synapse grew to become the largest seller of consumer magazine subscriptions worldwide. The company’s patented “continuous service” model changed the industry by allowing customers to subscribe to magazines without having to renew their subscriptions each year. This innovation helped Synapse become one of the most successful subscription companies in the world.

In 2005, Michael sold Synapse to Time Warner. Michael then went on to join the board of directors for Rocket Fuel Labs, a startup accelerator that helps early-stage companies grow and scale. Michael’s experience as a successful entrepreneur and CEO makes him a valuable asset to the Rocket Fuel Labs team.
