Ivan Makarenko

Ivan Makarenko is a highly experienced professional in the field of software engineering and data analytics, currently serving as a Senior Big Data Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Rocket Homes since February 2018. Previously, Ivan contributed to Flipp as a Back-End Software Engineer, where the development of a Content Management System (CMS) microservice was a key achievement. Further experience includes roles at IBM Canada, where Ivan worked on user experience web applications and developed data analytics platforms. Ivan began a foundation in software engineering as a student researcher at York University and has since earned a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the same institution.
