Ziad Elkurjie

Ziad Elkurjie has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple senior roles in engineering and technology. Ziad started their career at Excite in 1997 as a Database & Web Application Architect and later worked as a Systems Architect at Openwave (Software.com Inc) in 1999. Ziad then moved on to become the Director of Engineering at Clip2.com from 1999 to 2001, and subsequently joined There, Inc. as the Director of Engineering in 2002. In 2003, they became the VP of Engineering & Operations at Vertrue, Inc/Bargain Network, Inc. and held this position until 2008. Ziad also served as the CTO at DataSource Corporation from 2013 to 2014.

From 2009 to 2016, Ziad Elkurjie founded and served as the President of Patchi USA, a company they established. Ziad later co-founded Tellzone in 2015 and held the role of CTO until 2017. Ziad then joined tronc (formerly Tribune Publishing) as the VP of Engineering & Product from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Rocket Homes since May 2018.

Ziad Elkurjie holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto - New College. Ziad completed their undergraduate education at this institution from 1989 to 1993.
