Pawel Kupsc

Pawel Kupsc is a highly experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as a Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer at Rocket Lab since June 2023. Previously, Pawel worked as a Spacecraft Mechatronics Engineer at OHB Sweden AB from September 2017 to June 2023, where responsibilities included writing equipment requirement specifications, procuring spacecraft flight equipment, reviewing equipment design, and designing and manufacturing electric ground support equipment. Pawel held the position of Radiation Hardness Assurance Engineer (YGT) at the European Space Agency from September 2016 to August 2017, contributing to radiation testing and analysis for various space missions. Prior experiences include a master’s thesis in the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems group at Scania and an internship as a Firmware Engineer at 6SensorLabs. Pawel holds a Master’s Degree in Systems Control and Robotics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution, alongside earlier education at Stanford University and Katedralskolan, Uppsala.
