Aaron Dancer

Aaron Dancer has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and architecture. Aaron is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Rocket Money (formerly Truebill) since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Staff Software Engineer at Coinbase for a brief period in June 2022.

Aaron has also worked at Voodle, inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2021 to April 2022. Before that, they were a Software Architect at Reprivata from June 2020 to April 2022.

Aaron'sprevious roles also include being a Software Architect at Velostics from October 2019 to June 2020, a Software Engineer and UI Lead at Modiant from May 2018 to October 2019, a Professor and Head of Curriculum at Bytecamp - College of Technology from February 2016 to June 2018, and a Software Engineer & Designer at SSL.com from February 2015 to June 2018.

Aaron also worked as a Software Architect at Makeshop from July 2016 to September 2017 and as a Contractor at Microsoft from August 2015 to July 2016.

Aaron Dancer obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston-Downtown, which they completed from 2013 to 2017. Aaron also pursued various additional certifications, including CompTIA Project+ from CompTIA in February 2018. In October 2017, they obtained the CIW User Interface Designer certification from CIWcertified, and in September 2017, they obtained the CIW Advanced HTML5 and CSS3 Specialist certification, as well as the CIW Site Development Associate certification. Additionally, in June 2014, they acquired several certifications from Infinite Skills Inc., such as Advanced C++ Programming, Advanced Java Programming, CSS3, Dynamic Web Design with PHP and MySQL, JavaScript HTML5 API Programming, JavaScript Programming, Objective-C Programming, Python Programming, Responsive Web Design, Ruby Programming, Web Programming with Python, White Hat Hacking and Penetration Testing, and iOS Programming. Lastly, they obtained the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA in November 2017 and the Inbound Marketing certification from HubSpot Academy in May 2017.
