Richard Cotter

Richard Cotter's work experience begins in 2010 at Raymond James, where they worked as an Investment Banking Associate/Analyst, focusing on financial advisory and financing transactions. Richard then joined BMO Capital Partners as a Private Capital Associate, participating in the entire deal process from sourcing to portfolio management. In 2015, Cotter moved to Northern Mat & Bridge LP, where they served as the CFO and Vice President of Finance, contributing to the company's turnkey model and manufacturing capabilities. Finally, in 2022, they joined Rocket Mortgage Canada as the Vice President of Finance, taking part in the company's mission to revolutionize the Canadian mortgage industry through technology. Cotter has consistently been a trusted member of each organization's senior leadership team.

Richard Cotter holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder certification from the CFA Institute. Richard completed a Master of Financial Risk Management (Master of Science in Finance) degree at Simon Fraser University from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Management Economics in Industry and Finance from the University of Guelph, graduating in 2009.
