Oscar Newkerk

Oscar Newkerk is a seasoned software engineer and consultant with extensive experience in unified communications and application integration. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Quicken Loans since March 2016 and as the owner of Oscarnew Consulting since October 2009, Newkerk specializes in architecture, design, and implementation for Microsoft’s Unified Communications platform. Previous roles include Software Engineer and Applications Architect, focusing on integration with Office Communications Server, as well as various program management positions at Microsoft Corp., where Newkerk contributed to the development and adoption of unified communications technologies. Newkerk’s career began at Digital Equipment Corp., providing technical support and consulting in process control and real-time systems. Newkerk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Guilford College.
