Raj Prabhakar

Raj Prabhakar is the current Chief Business Officer and SVP at Rocket Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President Business Development at Caladrius Biosciences from August 2015 to October 2017. In this role, they reported directly to the CEO and served on the Executive Committee. Raj was responsible for leading all corporate business development activities, including in-and-out-licensing, as well as M&A and divestitures of autologous ex-vivo cell therapy products.

Prabhakar's current portfolio candidates include the T-Reg Immune Modulation cell therapy program, the Immune-Oncology cell therapy program, and the Cardiac ischemic repair cell therapy program. Raj also assists manufacturing subsidiary PCT LLC in strategic collaborations including Hitachi Chemical Ltd. (Asia Pacific and Japan collaboration).

Raj Prabhakar received their MBA from Harvard Business School. Raj also holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology (Course VII, emphasis on cell and molecular biology) and Mechanical Engineering (Course II) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
