Karina Kleppa

Karina Kleppa has worked as an Account Manager at Rocketfarm AS since May 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Geoscientist at Tullow Oil from January 2016 to June 2020, and as a Geoscience Technologist from November 2011 to December 2015. Karina also gained experience as an Exploration Geologist during a summer internship at Boliden in 2007.

Karina Kleppa has a strong educational background in geology, geophysics, and science. Karina started their education at Coláiste Dhúlaigh in 2000, where they pursued a FETAC (NCVA) in Medical Laboratory Science. Moving forward, they enrolled at Coláiste Dhúlaigh again in 2002 and obtained a Higher National Diploma (BTEC) in Science (Applied Biology) in 2003. Karina then continued their studies at Trinity College Dublin, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (Mod) in Geology (Hons) from 2004 to 2007. Karina furthered their education at the same institution, completing a Ph.D. in Geology, Geophysics, from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Karina Kleppa also holds several certifications. In 2015, they obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from APMG International. Furthermore, in 2021, they acquired the MTA: Introduction to Programming Using Python certification offered by Microsoft.
