Santiago Cardona has worked for three companies. In 2021, they joined Rocketfy as VP of Engineering and Teach Lead Developer. In 2019, they were Co-Founder at BooTech Latam. Between 2018 and 2021, they worked at Choucair Testing S.A. as Analista de Soluciones and Auxiliar de Soluciones.

Santiago Cardona has a background in Technology of Information. From 2016 to 2018, they studied at Politécnico Colombiano 'Jaime Isaza Cadavid' and obtained a Técnica Profesional en Programación de sistemas de información. In 2018, they completed a Diplomado Técnico en Integridad Web at Fundación Carlos Slim and a Diplomado Técnico en Big Data at the same institution in 2017. Santiago Cardona is currently pursuing a Tecnología en sistematización se datos at Politécnico Colombiano 'Jaime Isaza Cadavid', which they are expected to complete in 2021.
