Andrew Boorde has worked in the software engineering industry since 2012. Andrew began as a Game Master at Funcom in 2012. In 2015, they became a Software Engineer at Perficient, specializing in Watson Developer Cloud, Watson Explorer, and Watson Content Analytics. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer at ID, helping to build large scale websites using modern JavaScript, HTML5, and SASS. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at Welltok, Inc., creating a full React front end experience to bring a natural language virtual chatbot experience to market. In 2018, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Xceleration Inc., creating a new scalable employee recognition platform from the ground up. In 2019, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Inspirato, creating a brand new subscription based travel product in React and Typescript. In 2020, they became an Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Pie Insurance, bringing multiple new products to market in a fast paced startup environment. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at RocketReach.

Andrew Boorde obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science - Data and Information Visualization from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte between 2009 and 2015. Andrew also holds four certifications: Front End Development from Free Code Camp (obtained in November 2016), Big Data Hadoop Foundations from IBM (obtained in May 2016), ES2015: The Shape of JavaScript to Come from Code School (obtained in May 2016), and Powering Up With React from Code School (obtained in April 2016).
